L’ensemble Voces Suaves est de retour au Festival de Saintes en 2026 avec un florilège de madrigaux autour des deux premiers livres de Carlo Gesualdo. Ces œuvres, souvent structurées en prima et seconda parte, explorent avec intensité les thèmes de l’amour, du désir et de la douleur, dans une écriture raffinée et audacieuse. Le programme est complété par quelques-uns des plus beaux madrigaux de Claudio Monteverdi, dont e célèbre Lamento della Ninfa, offrant un éclairage complémentaire sur l’évolution du madrigal italien.
