Après le succès d’A Fancy, joué plus de vingt fois en France et en Europe et gravé pour Harmonia Mundi, Le Caravansérail poursuit son exploration de la musique de scène anglaise aux côtés de la soprano Rachel Redmond, en avançant dans le temps. L’histoire d'Another Fancy prend naissance au tournant du XVIIIe siècle, après la mort d’Henry Purcell, et va convoquer les esprits de John Blow, Daniel Purcell, William Croft, Jeremiak Clarke, John Weldon, Thomas Roseingrave, Domenico Scarlatti qu’il a introduit en Angleterre, et bien sûr Georg Frideric Handel.
Le Caravansérail est soutenu par le ministère de la Culture DRAC-Île-de-France, ainsi que la Ville de Fontainebleau. L’Ensemble est régulièrement soutenu pour son rayonnement national et international et ses productions discographiques par le Centre National de la Musique, la Spedidam, et l’Adami. Le Caravansérail est membre de la FEVIS (Fédération des ensembles vocaux et instrumentaux spécialisés), de PROFEDIM (syndicat professionnel des producteurs, festivals, ensembles, diffuseurs indépendants de musique), et du REMA (Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne).
